According to Food Network schedule, the company that owns Nutrisource, Dog Food Network, will shut down and will not renew its contract with the network.
“It’s an important moment for Nutrissource and for our brand.
We’ll continue to support Dog Food Nation and offer our loyal followers a wide variety of dog foods at reasonable prices.
The Nutrisense brand will remain intact and will continue to have the opportunity to expand our portfolio of dog food brands in the coming months,” a spokesperson for the company said.
Dog Food Network was founded in 2014 by Michelle and Robert Nutris and is a provider of dog-food products, including Dog-O-Rama, a popular dog food with more than 200 million consumers in the US.
Nutrisource launched Dog Food Online in 2016 and is the official online store for Dog Food.
Dog Food Nation is owned by Nutrisources parent company, Nestlé.
In a statement, the network said, “We have been working to stay ahead of the food and pet food industry for years and we are very proud to announce that we are now closing Dog Food News and the Dog Food and Nutrition Blog.
We are thrilled to be able to offer a broad selection of dog and cat food products at competitive prices that will help our loyal readers make smart choices about their dog’s food.”
